1. About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed on this website with CHAUDHRYMART LTD, company number 16220584, registered office 50B Balfour Road, Ilford, England, IG1 4JG. Placing an order means you accept them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Placing an order

Adding an item to your basket and completing checkout is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you place the order. If an item turns out to be unavailable or a price is listed in error, we will contact you and either cancel the order and refund you in full, or confirm the correct price before proceeding.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
• Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.
• We accept debit and credit cards and bank transfer.
• Bank transfer orders are held, not dispatched, until cleared funds are received. Please use your order reference as the payment reference.
• Orders paid by bank transfer that remain unpaid after seven days are cancelled automatically.

4. Delivery

Delivery timescales, charges and coverage are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

5. Cancellation and returns

As a consumer you may cancel most orders within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We extend this to 30 days for unused items in their original packaging. The full process, including exclusions, is set out in our Returns and Refund Policy.

6. Faulty or incorrect goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something is faulty, tell us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. After 30 days and within six months we will repair or replace it. We do not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect assembly, or normal wear.

7. Product information

We describe measurements, materials and finishes as accurately as we can. Photographs are representative. Natural materials such as solid timber, stone and rattan vary in grain and tone between batches, and this variation is not a fault.

8. Your account

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it. We may suspend accounts used for fraudulent orders.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not liable for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, carrier strikes or supply failures. We will contact you and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel and receive a refund for undelivered goods.
